Choose the Profession’s Certified Platform
The e-invoicing mandate will require all French VAT-registered companies to issue and receive electronic invoices for all transactions with other VAT-registered entities established in France.
Following the DGFiP’s announcement on October 15, 2024, regarding the withdrawal of the PPF (Public Invoicing Portal) as an e-invoicing platform, companies must now register with a Certified Platform (formerly known as a Partner Dematerialization Platform or PDP) of their choice to comply with the e-invoicing requirements.
Certified Platforms (PA) are accredited platforms provided by private service providers. They serve several critical roles: issuing, transmitting, and receiving electronic invoices, as well as reporting billing, transaction, and payment data to the tax authorities. These platforms are officially registered by the tax administration for a renewable three-year term. Choosing the right PA is therefore a strategic priority.
