Sustainability in Banqup
Our sustainability strategy is built on three core pillars: Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). Together, they define how we grow responsibly — by minimising our environmental impact, supporting people and communities, and ensuring transparency and accountability in the way we operate.
Each pillar reflects clear priorities:

and upholding strong governance standards in everything from data privacy to ethical decision-making.

Environment
Our approach to sustainability goes beyond our products. We take concrete steps to minimize the environmental impact of our operations — from using responsible cloud infrastructure to improving energy efficiency and managing electronic waste.
We also work closely with partners and suppliers to promote sustainable practices across the value chain, while encouraging data-driven and responsible decision-making at every level.

Social

We stay aligned with evolving ESG regulations, including the CSRD and ESRS frameworks, and continue to strengthen the way we disclose and manage our sustainability performance. ESG is not a side topic — it’s built into leadership, with clear roles for risk, compliance, and responsible conduct.
Our governance approach also covers data privacy, cybersecurity, and anti-corruption. By refining our policies and staying ahead of new expectations, we aim to remain a reliable and future-ready partner for everyone who relies on us.
ESG governance is overseen by our executive team and supported by cross-functional ESG working groups across the organisation.

For our suppliers
We believe that sustainability is a shared responsibility — and that real impact happens across the value chain. That’s why we work closely with our suppliers and partners to promote responsible business practices at every level.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out clear expectations around human rights, fair labour, environmental care, and anti-corruption. We ask our partners to align with these values and to actively support positive change.

To support our suppliers in understanding our ESG priorities, we provide guidance, insights, and an introductory training video on responsible business practices, helping them reflect these principles in their own operations.
